The island roots design is inspired by the mangrove and represents the strength, endurance, pride, and respect of generations of families supporting each other through love, loyalty, and life-giving thoughts, words, and deeds.

The women's ring is made using a thinner, 12 gauge metal, where is the men's ring uses a thicker 10 gauge metal. The 12g ring is 1/8 of an inch, 4mm wide once braided. The 10g ring is 1/4th of an inch, 7mm wide once braided.
